Great map but I was disappointed that Rand McNally has ... Great map but I was disappointed that Rand McNally has enlarged the maps so much that a single state takes more than one page. A little too much chopping up for my taste. But overall it's nice to have a new atlas.35% LARGER MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE FOR OLD EYES! Having a road atlas is a must for us! We're seniors and still appreciate the tried and true. We even stop at state tourist welcome centers to get the state map.Yes, we like our Garmin GPS, and yes, we also like MapQuest - and use both when going on a trip. Garmin doesn't always give us the route we want to take, and MapQuest gives you options, so we follow MapQuest until Garmin re-calculates to the route we want, but we still want our atlas for backup.Anyway, while planning our last trip, comparing MapQuest to our current atlases, we realized just how OLD they were and knew it was time to get an updated one, so off to Amazon, my VERY favorite place to shop! And I was hooked when I saw this 2019 Rand McNally Large Scale Road Atlas! Two sets of old eyes need all the help they can get! And to top it off, this edition is spiral bound! We don't travel Mexico or Canada, so this edition is just perfect for us.It is amazing how much difference 35% makes! Won't be needing the magnifying glass with this atlas!It's big and it's beautiful It is very large and easy to read. Opens like a notebook so you can just have the page your driving on or planning on open. So many years of paper maps makes this map like the difference between stereo and mono. Once you try it you'll never go back to paper maps. Since it IS rather large, if your eyesight is hawk like you might choose a smaller version to save some space.
